Linework and Stones Ltd (LWS) is a significant contracting business in
the lower North Island. We’re both a power contractor, specialising in
the design, construction and maintenance of electrical reticulation, and
an electrical contractor with an excellent reputation gained within the
construction industry, the commercial and industrial sector.
Focused on providing tailored solutions, the Technical Services Manager
will be able to manage and grow a portfolio of projects of differing scope to internal
and external customers
Responsibilities include;
•The design and equipment selection of substation secondary and primary systems for distribution network projects.
•Provide technical design support – using in-house skills and knowledge or by engaging specialist consulting staff.
•Working closely with clients and contractors on job briefs, technical issues, construction methods and commercial and contractual arrangements.
•Leading and developing a team of Technicians, Cable Jointers, Electrical Fitters and Subcontractors to be able to carry out work on Distribution Networks
from 400V up to 33KV.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
•Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or NZCE and relevant experience.
•Previous experience working at a senior management level
•Experience within and electrical/contracting environment
•Excellent Project Management skills.
