Working within the River Management Group, this is a critical role which leads a group of professionals who provide River Management engineering advice and services to the community, council and extended organisation.
Top priority is your ability to lead the work programme through people, taking the lead in major projects. Your excellent relationship management and communication skills will mean you build and maintain effective relationships with a range of key stakeholders internally and externally.
You will have a relevant degree in Engineering or Earth Sciences, and will ideally have expertise in either civil design or river engineering. A working knowledge of relevant legislation and safe working practices will have been part of your day to day, along with the ability to describe great customer experiences you will have been responsible for delivering.
