Dunedin City Council has two exciting opportunities for new or recent graduates with an interest and passion for transportation engineering.
The Dunedin City Council’s Transport team are responsible for the planning, development, operation and maintenance of the City’s roading network. We are offering you the opportunity to grow your career working in the Transport Delivery Team at Dunedin City Council. You will get to work in a supportive and professional environment, and be part of a team which works closely with our contractors, ensuring the delivery of contract budgets and standards, through inspecting, auditing and programme compliance. Your work will contribute towards the ongoing maintenance and protection of the DCC’s transport network.
A relevant tertiary qualification, knowledge of project management principles, civil engineering, and road safety are essential for this role. You will have good interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, be well organised, and focused on completing tasks promptly to high professional standards.
